Today I went into the jungle! And to a waterfall!

At ten o’clock I got on an about 1.30 hour bus drive. The drive already was really beautiful, and the waterfall itself was just unbelievable. I had to hike a little bit until we reached our destination, it was very cool. 

The first thing I had to do when I reached the jungle, was actually to clean my shoes. You might be wondering: why clean your shoes when you’re about to go in the jungle ??? Well its kind of like a regulation to keep the NZ nature just how it is atm. The government practically wants to make sure, that you don’t bring any new organisms in there, which could possibly change the whole structure of nature.

So when I arrived at the Piha waterfall I was genuinely exhausted.  couldn’t resist taking a swim, even if the water was FREEZING!!

It was such a nice experience.. After that I visited the Piha beach, which also was very pretty. Me and a group of friends sat down, listened to some music and truly enjoyed the time we had there.
