Today was my first school day and it was really exciting. I was kinda nervous because everything is new and sooo different, but I guess it just takes some time to get used to everything.

I got a bus at eight o’clock but I think I got out at the wrong stop which is why I had to walk the rest. When I arrived at Takapuna grammar school I had no idea where I had to go now. So I went to the reception of the school and they told me to go to the library.

There we were welcomed by the international staff. They told us everything we have to know for the first few weeks and also made a little tour round the buildings. After that our English knowledges were tested to see in what classes we should go. I will be going to the normal lessons with all the local students.
